SULAM

Sulam, Inc., a well established Jewish school in the Greater Washington area was founded in 1998 to address the educational needs of Jewish students with learning differences within a nurturing Jewish day school setting.  Today, Sulam provides K-12 educational and support services for full time and part time students at the Melvin J. Berman Hebrew Academy and the Torah School of Greater Washington, offering a comprehensive and highly individualized program.

Opportunities for inclusion with peers are maximized through collaboration with our host schools. Using an innovative, multidisciplinary team approach that reflects research-based practices, Sulam provides a continuum of educational and therapy services throughout the school day. Our students develop the confidence and skills they need to become motivated, lifelong learners.
