Beth Joshua Congregation
Beth Joshua Congregation is an Orthodox Jewish congregation affiliated with the Orthodox Union. We meet in the Melvin J. Berman Hebrew Academy, which is our local Orthodox Jewish day school. MJBHA and Beth Joshua are located in the Aspen Hill neighborhood of Rockville, MD. Rabbi Uri Topolosky is the spiritual leader of the congregation and can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org or 301-962-9400, x5560.
We are located at:
13300 Arctic Avenue
Rockville, Maryland 20853
We welcome guests and visitors to our community, and hope that you may even entertain moving into our neighborhood! Our community may be small, but it is vibrant and enthusiastic. Aspen Hill is a beautiful, affordable area near Washington, DC. There is a mikvah attached to the shul, as well as an eruv surrounding the community. It is also close to the kosher establishments in the Silver Spring and Rockville areas.
To see up to the minute homes that are available within the eruv, visit http://eruvhomesmd.com/aspenhill.
MJBHA is proud to announce the Aspen Hill Initiative. A critical mass of families live in Aspen Hill, daven in the school's synagogue on Shabbat, use the gorgeous mikveh in the building, enjoy convenient shopping, access to nearby Metro stations, the Intercounty Connector and kosher establishments.
MJBHA is committed to helping young families move to Aspen Hill and send their children to the school. Up to 40% in discounted preschool tuition is available for families who move into the neighborhood in 2012 and 2013. Affordable housing and a quiet, safe and stable eruv-enclosed neighborhood make this very attractive for young, growing families.
An interest-free home loan/down payment program (funded by a private donor) can help make the move a very affordable reality. Email MJBHAinfo@mjbha.org for more information.
