Lower School Book Club

A partnership with MJBHA’s LS Guidance Counselor, Rachel Handloff, to encourage parent reading and conversation about issues in our children’s every day lives. 

We had great participation in our summer book club meetings. Our next Lower School/PTO book club selection will be Blessing of a Skinned Knee by Wendy Mogel.  Mrs. Mogel’s book highlights using Jewish teachings to build self-reliant children. Discussions for the book will take place in late February - the exact dates, locations and times will be published in a couple months. Even if you have read the book, it's a great time to take a look again and join in the discussion. I look forward to meeting with you and having an opportunity for us to share our thoughts and ideas as it relates to the book.
