Grandparents and Special Friends Day

Dear Honored Grandparents and Special Friends,

Grandparents and Special Friends Day is planned for Friday, May 11 this year. On this day we share the nachas of our wonderful students and the joy they bring through their learning.

We know that, as grandparents, you play a crucial role in your grandchildren's lives, providing unconditional love and support for them. We hope that you also know that you are important supporters of your grandchildren's school, the Melvin J. Berman Hebrew Academy. 

In recent years, we have been blessed with many grandparents who recognize the need to help fund our students' educational experience and to make it as rich and enduring as possible. These grandparents have gone the extra mile to offer financial resources for distinct, tangible educational enrichments. Please consider helping our students by making as large a financial contribution as possible. 

Here are just some of the ways-in whole or in part- that you can participate:

• $100 dedicates a day of learning through Parnas Hayom,
• or support for the day.
• $250 dedicates a seat in the auditorium; to be recognized
• with a permanent plaque.
• $3,600 provides new opportunities for visual and cultural arts expression.

Every dollar we receive is spent carefully and wisely and with the intention of maximizing its direct impact on our students. 

We ask you to join other grandparents by responding to our grandparents campaign generously and with alacrity. In addition to the list we will publish on Grandparents Day, we will also post all contributors on our electronic Parnas Hayom bulletin board on the day.

Our students are depending on you to help them obtain the finest Jewish and general education which they will carry with them into the future and pass on to their children and grandchildren.
