Welcome to Preschool

Welcome to Preschool

Our Preschool warmly welcomes each young child to their first formal school experience. We emphasize sharing and caring and encourage compassion for others. Middot/values lessons are incorporated and focused on as the highest of all priorities.

Our nurturing and supportive environment gives each child an active role in exploring, discovering and learning the skills that foster their social, emotional, physical and cognitive development. It is our hope that the children will develop positive self-esteem and the confidence to make a difference in our community and world.

Our dual Judaic and general studies curriculum introduces tefillah (prayer), parsha (weekly Torah portion), brachot (blessings), chagim (Jewish and secular holidays), seasons, community helpers, nutrition, safety, colors and shapes. In addition, our “Handwriting without Tears” writing curriculum provides tools, workbooks and materials to help implement a strong introduction to writing. Our print-rich environment reinforces our well-rounded and balanced literacy program.

Our nurturing teachers encourage critical thinking skills, teach problem solving and build self esteem. Jewish identity and the love for Israel are at the core of our program, creating a strong positive commitment to Yiddishkeit.

With warmest regards,
