THE K-1 INITIATIVE

MJBHA’s kindergartens and first grades are vibrant, loving, rich and enriched learning and social environments. A specially funded program has been created for the upcoming year to encourage new parents to experience what MJBHA has to offer. Any family who is new to the Lower, Middle and Upper Schools will receive a $1500 discount off the first year of tuition for their kindergartner or first-grader for the 2012-13 school year. In addition, if that child is entering kindergarten, the family also will receive an additional $1500 discount for first grade the following year. Current MJBHA preschool parents are eligible if their rising kindergartner is their first child in our school.

THE ASPEN HILL INITIATIVE

MJBHA is nestled in the Rockville neighborhood of Aspen Hill. A critical mass of families live in Aspen Hill, daven in the school’s synagogue on Shabbat, use the gorgeous mikveh in the building, enjoy convenient shopping, access to nearby Metro stations, the Intercounty Connector and kosher establishments. MJBHA is committed to helping young families move to Aspen Hill and send their children to the school. An interest-free home loan/down payment program (funded by a private donor) and up to 40% in discounted preschool tuition is available for families who move into the neighborhood in 2012 and 2013. Affordable housing and a quiet, safe and stable eruv-enclosed neighborhood make this very attractive for young, growing families. For more information about the Aspen Hill incentive, contact the Admissions office at x5630.
