Peer Counseling

Peer counseling is a group of students who help support their peers who may need assistance with various issues. Peer Counselors receive intensive training by the Jewish Social Service Agency (JSSA). Students who may be struggling emotionally can meet privately with a peer counselor. All issues handled by peer counselors remain completely confidential, unless the problem involves harming oneself or others. The program will be open to sophomores, juniors and seniors in the second semester. An application, interview and training session is required.
