Chesed

MS Students who have been involved in chesed activities this year were honored at a special breakfast on Monday, June 6.

Todah rabah to the students who have contributed in so many ways.

·        Many 6^th graders were reading buddies to Mr. Becker’s 2^nd graders every Monday at breakfast and lunch.

·        6^th, 7^th and especially 8^th graders worked with 4 year old nursery children to pack weekend food packages for needy children at Harmony Hills Elementary School.

·        Students raised $1200 to buy pajamas for needy children at Beit Appel Youth Village in Israel.

·        $1700 was raised for Save a Child’s Heart. After 4 years of fundraising, Middle School has collected the $10,000 to save a child!

·        About $1,000 has been raised for Tomchai Shabbos to help the needy in our local Jewish Community.
