Education Committee Mission

The Education Committee serves as an advisory group to the Headmaster, Executive Committee and Board of Directors on educational issues and policy, and oversees the broad educational goals and policies of the school.

In this capacity, the Committee is mandated to regularly review existing programs and policies to raise ideas for new programs and policies, working in cooperation with faculty to ensure that educational policy and planning is practical to monitor the implementation of new programs and changes in the curriculum to monitor progress towards the implementation of the strategic plan and long term educational goals to advise the budget committee on the educational implications of budgetary proposals and decisions to serve as a forum where administrators and faculty members can raise and discuss key educational initiatives to serve as a grievance panel in special circumstances to determine the school calendar.
